Timber Treatment Solutions designs and manufactures turnkey Hot Oil / Royale treatment plants of any size. There are two stages to hot oil treatment:
Stage 1: The timber is preserved with a copper based preservative system using a High Pressure Impregnation Plant
Stage 2: The timber is placed into a hot oil processing plant where the timber is subjected to vacuum and temperature to initiate moisture removal. The heated oil is introduced into the vessel and this accelerates the moisture removal. The removed moisture is replaced with the heated oil. A final vacuum is applied to remove excess oil.
The hot oil processing plants generally include: –
- a stainless steel autoclave with quick closing door(s)
- one or several tanks to store the treatment chemical
- a process skid, with all necessary pumps, valves, and pipes
- a mixing system to mix the clear oil with colour pigments
- a timber pack handling system, from completely manual to fully automated
- a PC or HMI based control system with our latest plant operating system
