Anti Sapstain is a product which is used to protect against sapstain, which is also referred to as blue stain. It is caused by fungi and results in timber discolouration which is rarely acceptable to the customer.
Dip treatment is a common method of applying anti sapstain products to timber in bulk. Dipping treatment is exactly as it sounds – the wood panel is dipped into a treatment bath and fully submerged. Dip tanks can contain water-based or solvent-based preservative.
